Ballytherm cavity wall insulation can improve your thermal performance by installing the boards within a cavity. This method of insulating is best suited for new builds. It has a low thermal conductivity so thinner boards can be used compared to some other types of insulation. Ballytherm partial fill insulation is moisture resistant and moisture in the cavity will not affect the insulation.
Boards should be fitted to the outer leaf of the inner wall. Wall ties should be used to support the insulation against the masonry and clips should be fitted over the wall ties. To give a continuous layer of insulation the boards should be installed with staggered vertical joints. Please follow manufacturers installation guide when installing.
